Cleaning out the cupboards

So with Spring right around the corner I got the itch to do a bit of cleaning. So here are the results of the cupboard make over. I got more glass jars and the label maker out, let me just say it was super fun if you like to organize! Ha!

Before, bye bye bags!

Flooring Project Finish Line!

Ok drum roll please! We have completed the floors! YAY! Now on to the base board issue. Oh well! At least there is one less battle to fight. I can't tell you how nice it is to have the floors look clean! I am just so thankful. So with out further adieu here are the pictures.

More Projects!

So here we go again. We are about to tackle the biggest project so far at our house....the floors! We start on Monday with R&R coming in to start the repair work and refinishing of the Dinningroom/Kitchen area. I am so excited about this. It will finally feel clean and fresh once all is said and done. Next we will have a sandless company come out and do the rest of the house. Yep I said it the entire house has hard wood except for our Laundry room. Steven and Ashton have been hard at work getting everything prepped for the arrival of the flooring professionals. Here are a few shots of their hard work.

More pictures to come as we make more progress! Cross your fingers that all goes well!

Goodbye Carpet Hello Hardwood!

Many of you may know that I hate carpet. Really! It collects so much dirt and hides it and you only find it when you go to replace it or remove it. So it was a glorious day for me when I came home one late summer day to find Steven ripping up the carpet in the living room! Of course that prompted us to rip it out in the front bedroom(our altar room) and in the kids room! The best part is we have hardwood everywhere! I am so excited. We should have enough money by February to refinish all the floors. Some of the base boards were raised to put in the carpet before we owned the house so we will have to put new one's in. That should be an adventure trying to match it to the existing moldings! So with out further adieu I present the before and middle pictures. I'll post afters once we have the floors refinished in February!
