Christmas Celebration

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from our celebration.

Christmas Eve we went to Nampa and had a nice gathering with family at the Meyers home. As always it was covered with lights. We all know that Papa Butch pulls out all the stops at Christmas. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the outside. By the time we left the snow was blowing hard with no sign of letting up!

Christmas Day we spent together at home snuggled in under a blanket of snow.

Thank you to all of our family and friends for sharing your time with us. Happy Holidays to you and yours!

The Stevie Steivo

Steven has created a new dance craze that has swept through our house! Once you see his moves you'll want to do the Stevie Steivo too!

Everybody Steivo!

Macs are Fun!

So as I sit at work grinding my fingers to the bone, my boys are at home discovering new levels of hilarity in which to inflict on me! Imagine my surprise as I receive the following pictures from them. I had to go running for the bathroom to avoid and accident from laughing so hard! So of course when I got home I joined in the fun! Check out how crazy funny we got!

Yes it is official we are totally retarded! Enjoy the laugh on us!

Thank you boys for a ton o' laughs!

Snow Days!

The snow is here! YAY! The boys have made full use of their snow gear. Here are the highlights...

Here are the boys making snow angles! They are too cute!

Hope you all had as much fun in the snow as they did!

O Christmas Tree!

I think you will all love this video of the boys at the Christmas tree lot! I am still laughing over it!

Every year we go to "The Elves Christmas Forest" to pick out a Christmas tree. In keeping with this tradition we brought the red rocket to aid us in our search.

Here are the boys showing that pickin' a tree is serious business! I think they look more like the Candy Cane Mafia!

Next we had to get the tree in the house, give it a drink, and start decorating! We think it turned out very nice.

Here is the worst family photo ever! But I had to add it as it is just too funny not to!

Happy Holidays everyone!

Ode to Pie!

This is the first year I have made a pie. So in celebrating my achievement I give you my Thanksgiving Ode to Pie!

For it is so sweet,

It makes my heart beat
Every time I hear it's name!

The urge to eat is strong

Every time it comes along...

It smells so delicious,

It makes me ambitious
To take a fork to its core!

The taste is incredible,

So delectably edible...

The spices entice me
To consume this specialty--

in its entirety!

I am not going to lie...
I don't love just any pie.

To tell you somethin':
It has to be PUMPKIN!

Here I am in the kitchen figuring out how to make crust. My handy hubby ground fresh wheat, so I thought the crust was not only awesome but also very nutritious!

This picture was just too cute that I couldn't leave it out!

Thank you Grandma Shannie for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

1st Anniversary

December 2, 2008 marked our first anniversary! We remembered our union by visiting the place where it all happened, the Idaho Botanical Gardens, Winter Garden Aglow. As always the gardens were an amazing display of color and form, just as our marriage has become and will continue to be.

This is a tribute to my dear and wonderful husband, whom brought me to a new place within myself and who continues to amaze me in his abilities, intellect, endearing strength, and friendship.

One year down and an eternity to go!

We didn't have Thad last night, so sadly he wasn't able to be with us. So it was a 3/4 celebration of our family and union.

Love to all our family and friends for all their support!
